3:00 PM - 5:30 PMCBICBI is thrilled to host our next Women’s Shabbaton when Beryl Levinger will lead a special Torah study on Saturday afternoon. Beryl is a consummate educator, and study with her always leads to heartfelt conversation that deepens connections to Jewish wisdom and tradition. The topic for this session is “Who are our heroes?” We will examine Jewish songs, literary works, and sacred texts to understand what makes someone—particularly a woman––heroic. We’ll also share stories about our own personal heroes. This study group, founded over two decades ago by Beryl, offers an opportunity for CBI women to come together to pray and study in an intimate setting. We hope to include CBI women of all ages. Feel free to invite your mothers, daughters, relatives, and friends. At 5:00 PM, we will hold a Havdalah ceremony followed by light refreshments. Suggested donation of $18.
