On Sunday, October 15, CBI presents Wanda Vollmer, longtime Carmel resident and founder of Peace of Mind Preparedness, a disaster preparedness company, (and co-captain of our Carmel volunteer emergency response team)--this should be a very timely presentation as our fire and rainy seasons approach. Wanda previously worked for the American Red Cross as a Community Engagement Manager, and, among her other portfolios, served as the lead functional expert for Red Cross preparedness programs. Wanda will talk with us about creating a comprehensive disaster response plan and building a robust disaster response kit. As this program will be held in a private home, space is limited to 15 attendees.
