Jewish Camp Experience
Children come home from our Jewish camps enthusiastic about their Jewish identity and with Jewish friendships that can last a lifetime. Days are filled with exciting outdoor activities ranging from swimming and roller-blading to overnight campouts and basketball.
Campers will also learn about their Jewish heritage through evening programs, arts and crafts projects, and a variety of optional activities including theater, puppetry, photography, music, and Israeli folk dancing. Add in lots of singing, Shabbat observance, and a host of other great activities and one begins to understand why students can’t wait for camp to begin each summer. Scholarships for Jewish Summer Camps and Programs
We encourage all our students to visit a Jewish Camp over the summer. To this end, Congregation Beth Israel offers scholarships to those CBI families who need financial assistance. Please complete a form for each child and return it to CBI by January 15.
