Join us as we gather together for our family friendly CBI Chanukah celebration. We will begin with a community lighting of our Chanukah Menorahs. Each family is encouraged to bring their own Chanukiah and candles (extra points if it is homemade!). Following the candle lighting we will join with Cantor Alisa Fineman as she leads us in singing Chanukah songs. Then we will enjoy a potluck Chanukah dinner that will include either latkes made by a group of volunteers earlier that day or store bought latkes. (Please call to volunteer to help make latkes!) Let’s keep all items vegetarian. Families with last names starting with A-L are kindly asked to bring a main dish, and those with last names starting with M-Z, a side dish. Rabbi Greenbaum will lead our annual dreidel spinning contests with gelt prizes! After dinner we will transition into the sanctuary for our Chanukah/Shabbat service, starting at approximately 7:00 PM.
